  1. Firstly, plug in your extender in the same room in which you have placed the router. It will help in getting a fast connection through WPS.

  2. After that, wait for some time until a solid green LED Light blinks on the extender.

  3. In the next step, press and hold the WPS button on the Setek WiFi range extender for 5 seconds. Repeat the same steps for your router device.

  4. Now, you will see a solid LED light start blinking on the router and extender. It takes a maximum of 15-18 seconds for the Setek extender to connect with the router.

  6. Now, unplug your extender and place it to that location where you want internet connectivity.

Note: One thing that you need to remember is that you place your extender within the range of the router. Also, place the extender away from interference creating devices such as ovens, microwaves, etc for better internet connectivity.

Go through the below steps for the Setek WiFi range extender setup by using the IP address 192.168.10.1:

  1. Plug your Setek extender near or away from your router when you are doing the web-based setup by using the 192.168.10.1 IP address.

  2. Go further with the setup process when a solid LED green light blinks on the extender device.

  3. Take any wireless devices such as Mac, laptop, iPhone and open the WiFi settings.

  4. You will easily find the Setek Wireless Network in your WiFi list as “Wireless N” Network92.

  5. Click on it to get connected with Wireless N. It will be viewed as an open or unsecured network.

  6. Open a web browser of your choice and enter 192.168.10.1 in the address bar of the web browser. It will navigate you to the Setek extender setup page. In case, this IP address doesn’t work then try to reset the Setek extender or change the browser or use a different device.

  7. Follow on-screen instructions for the Setek range extender. After that, your device will start scanning the available networks.

  8. You will get the list of the available networks on your screen. Select your main WiFi network which you want to extend.

  9. Enter the password for your selected WiFi network.

  10. Once your Setek WiFi range extender is completed then the WiFi light on it starts blinking to solid green.

  11. Next, unplug your extender and place it within the range of the router. The extender takes 60 seconds to boot up. Place the Setek extender away from the microwave, ovens, etc for better internet connectivity.
