How to Setup Victony WA1200 WiFi Extender via WPS?

Go through the below-mentioned instructions for the Victony WA1200 WiFi extender setup by using the WPS button:

Step 1: The first step is to plug-in your Victony WiFi range extender into the power outlet nearer to your router.

Note: It is suggested to place your extender in the same room in which you have placed the router and it should be 5-10 feet away in order to build the faster connection.

Step 2: Turn on your extender and wait for some time until the power LED light on the extender turns green.

Step 3: After that, press and hold the WPS button on your victony wa1200 WiFi extender for 3-4 seconds. 

Step 4: Repeat the same above process on your router by pressing the WPS button on your wireless router.

Step 5: Now, you will see that a green power LED light starts blinking on the victony wa1200 wifi extender which indicates whether your router is configured or working properly or not.

Step 6: The victony WiFi extender and router will take hardly 12-15 seconds to recognize each other and establish the connection between each other.

Step 7: Once the connection has been established successfully then you will see that the WiFi extender will turn to the solid green color. 

Step 8: Next, unplug your Victony WiFi range extender and move it to the place where you are facing the dead spots. 

Note: If the WPS button does not work then reset your extender to the factory default settings. If you want to get the seamless WiFi connection then place your extender away from the electrical appliances.

Victony WA1200 WiFi Extender Setup via 192.168.10.1 

Follow the below instructions for the Victony WA1200 WiFi extender setup using the IP address 192.168.10.1:

Step 1: The first step is to plug-in your Victony extender into the power socket. It is not essential to plug it nearer your router.

Step 2: After that, wait for some time until your extender boots up properly and a solid power LED light starts blinking on your device.

Step 3: Open WiFi on your wireless devices such as laptop, Mac, smartphone or WiFi enabled devices. 

Step 4: Go through the WiFi list and then connect with your device to open the Victony network.

Step 5: Once you are connected, open the web browser on the same device and enter the IP address 192.168.10.1 in the address bar of the web browser.

Step 6: Now, you will be redirected to the Victony WA1200 WiFi extender setup webpage.

Note: In case, the IP address 192.168.10.1 does not work then reset your extender or change the web browser or you can use some different device.

Step 7: Follow on-screen instructions on your Victony browser setup. 

Step 8: When the system prompts then choose the network that you want to extend. Choose the main wireless network that you want to extend.

Step 9: Next, you need to enter the password for your wireless internet.

Step 10: When your extender is connected with the router successfully then the WiFi light will turns to solid green on Victony extender. 

Step 11: Unplug your extender and place it to such a location where you need the internet connectivity. Your extender may take around 60 seconds to boot up your extender.

Note: It is recommended to place the Victony WA1200 WiFi extender in the direct line of sight of the router and away from the big electronic appliances such as microwave.
